SUMMARY:CiNPT\, 6th edition: Stress\, Trauma and Human Relations\, 7th - 10th of October 2021
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that this fall we organize the 6th edition of CiNPT – the International Psychotraumatology Conference. The theme of the event will be Stress\, Trauma and Human Relations. The conference will take place online\, on 8th -10th of October. This year Prof. Franz Ruppert will hold a pre-conference workshop on 7th of October\, from 5pm to 9 pm with the theme: I want to live\, to love and to be loved. \n N.B. An unique link of ZOOM will be send one day before the event\, on 6th of October 2021.  \n As usual\, we have prepared 3 days filled with specialized information\, with lectures given by notorious personalities in the field\, who are gathering for this event\, invited by ISTT: \n  \n\nAd de Jongh\, PhD\, clinician psychologist\, professor of Anxiety and Behavior Disorders at the University of Amsterdam. EMDR trainer\, director of the Psychotherapy and Psychotrauma Center in Bilthoven\, The Netherlands\, Dr. De Jongh is an expert in the treatment of anxiety disorders and complex trauma\, and is involved in research on the effectiveness of treatments based on proofs for a diverse pathology\, from traumatized children\, to individuals suffering from intellectual disorders\, to psychosis. Dr. de Jong has authored and co-authored a long list of articles\, books and book chapters of books in his area of expertise\, and is a member of the scientific committee for EMDR Europe and for the International Association of EMDR. Dr. de Jong is also a member of the scientific committee of the International Foundation of War Traumas.\nSandra Paulsen – PhD.\, clinical psychologist\, “Ego State Therapy” therapist\, co-editor of “The Neurobiology & Treatment of Traumatic Dissociation: Toward an Embodied Self” (2014)\, with Ulrich Lanius and Frank Corrigan\, and author of two books that she also illustrated: “Looking Through the Eyes of Trauma & Dissociation: An Illustrated Guide for EMDR Therapists and Clients\,” about ego state therapy and dissociation\, and “When There Are No Words: Repairing Early Trauma and Neglect from the Attachment Period with EMDR Therapy\,” a book about modifications of EMDR needed for trauma held in implicit memory from the beginning of life. Sandra Paulsen is also a fellow of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation\, she was invited faculty at the First and Third World Congresses of Ego State Therapy in Germany\, 2003\, and South Africa\, 2010\, Japan EMDR Conference 2010\, and Masters Series Lecturer at EMDRIA conference in Toronto\, 2004. She has spoken widely and internationally in Asia\, Europe\, Russia\, Africa\, South and North America over many years. She collaborated with John G. Watkins\, originator of ego state therapy. She was Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Hawaii; and Acting Chief Psychologist at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu.\nSerban Ionescu – PhD.\, psychiatrist and clinical psychologist\, emeritus professor at Paris University 8 Vincennes – Saint-Denis (France) and at Quebec University à Trois-Rivières (Canada). He is also a fellow of Medical Sciences Academy in Romania and Doctor Honoris Causa. Serban Ionescu is the author of over 30 international books\, of which we mention:  “Les Mecanismes de Defenses”\, “15 Approches de la Psychopathologie”\, “Resiliences Ressemblances dans la Diversite”\, “Traite de Resilience Assistee”. These books were translated in Romanian language and they represent information of great importance for the professionals\, especially from medical and psychological areas.\nFranz Ruppert – PhD.\, University Professor at Applied Sciences in Munich since 1992\, psychotherapist with private practice and international author of many books\, of which we mention: “Who Am I in a Traumatised  and Traumatising Society?”\, “Symbiosis and Autonomy”\, “Early Trauma”\, “Love\, Lust and Trauma\, “Trauma\, Fear and Love”.\nDave Berger – Senior Professor\, somatic psychotherapist internationally known\, clinical psychologist\, certified practitioner in Somatic Experiencing therapy and bodyworker\, senior teacher at Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute\, with over 40 years experience\, using a diverse array of traditional and complementary healing practices to help clients with physical pain and movement problems\, trauma histories\, back and neck problems\, PTSD\, and anxiety disorders.\nAnca Dobrean – Prof. Univ. Dr\, clinical psychologist and cognitive-behavior psychotherapist.\nRaluca Balan – PhD.\, cognitive-behavior psychotherapist.\nRozeta Draghici – University Lector\, Principal Clinical Psychologist\, Scientific Researcher II.\nRamona Letzner – Ph.D. candidate\, clinical psychologist.\nDiana Vasile – PhD.\, clinical psychologist\, psychotherapist and lecturer at University of Bucharest with a private experience for over 22 years. Diana Vasile is the President of The Institute for Studying and Treating Trauma and a founding member of many professional associations in Romania. Her expertise is mainly concerning the relational trauma. She is the author of many scientific articles and books\, of which we mention: “Family Trauma and Compensatory Resources”. Often defined as a traumatic event\, trauma is actually an internal experience\, generated by a traumatic event. Trauma is the internal subjective experience of emotional split\, after a life situation that was overwhelming and could not be handled by our emotional resources. \n  \nWhat do we know about human relationships? \nIn recent years\, many research studies have shown us that the relationships that we have with those around us significantly impact our mental and physical health. Within relationships we can feel psychological stress or we can live the internal experience of trauma. At the same time\, social support has proven to be a significant protective factor against trauma and against the negative effect of stress on general health.
